On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, RI, we cordially invite all persons interested in ecotourism – buyers, sellers, academics, NGOs, government officials, entrepreneurs, and media - to join the Second International Ecotourism Business Forum (Ecotourbiz 2006) to be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from Nov 11-14, 2006. This Second International Ecotourism Business Forum is a follow-up to the first very successful Ecotourbiz event held last November in Bogor, West Java. This year’s Ecotourbiz consists of four main activities as follows:

1. Ecotourism Workshop: will have international and domestic participants from tourism academies, tour operators, travel agents, hotels, tourism associations, tourism offices, and NGOS. The distinguished speakers from different countries will be here to share their experiences and successful case studies and marketing of ecotourism to the international tourism sector.
2. Table-Top Business Session: where invited international buyers and Indonesian sellers specializing in ecotourism products and attractions from many across Indonesia will join together in a structured table-top business negotiations.
3. Ecotourism Exhibition: This will be free and open to the general public. This exhibition contains booths and post sessions which will help inform the public and media show about ecotourism objects and destinations in Indonesia.
4. Tour of Ecotourism Products in Yogyakarta and Central Java: A day-long guided tour for buyers, speakers, and media will take place on Sunday, Nov 12. It is aimed at familiarizing them about ecotourism activities, products, and destinations found in Yogyakarta and Central Java provinces.
